Our House and Home - Our Place

These are snapshots I've taken since October 5, 2000 when I got my digital camera.  I thought it would be nice to give you a virtual tour of our place and let you see a little bit of the home we love so much. The majority of the pictures were taken in Spring because everything is so lush and green. I don't have that many pictures of the dry summer look or the frozen tundra look. ;-) If you'd like to see a larger more detailed picture, just click on it. --Julie

In January of 2002 we found ourselves situated in the middle of one of the worst ice storms to hit northern Oklahoma. As much as we love nature and the outdoors, we quickly became aware of our innate love of electricity and modern conveniences. We "camped" inside, living back to the basics for eight LONG days.

Here are some pictures taken on the first day before we had reached the peak of accumulation. Naturally the ice storm was followed by weeks and weeks of clean-up around our place.
